AwardSignal terms of service

1. Who we are and contact

AwardSignal is provided by Jexera Limited (trading as Purpose Recruitment), 57 Avonmore View, Ballinderry Road, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow, Ireland, company number 707158 ("we"). Contact: hello@awardsignals.com. Privacy: see our privacy notice.

2. Business customers only

AwardSignal is sold only to businesses, public bodies and sole traders acting for purposes of their trade, business or profession. By subscribing you confirm you are acting in that capacity. If we find that a subscriber is a consumer (an individual acting outside their trade, business, craft or profession), we will tell them, cancel the subscription and refund all payments in full; nothing in these terms limits any right a consumer has under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 or the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), including the 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract for services.

3. The subscription

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time in the Stripe customer portal linked from every digest or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then and will not be charged again. Fees already paid are non-refundable, except: (a) cancellation during the free trial (no charge is made); (b) a full refund of an annual plan if you cancel within 14 days of the first annual charge; (c) refunds required by law or under clause 2; (d) a pro-rata refund if we end the service under clause 10 other than for your breach.

5. Licence and acceptable use

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use digests for your internal business purposes during your subscription, by the number of recipients in your plan. You must not:

We may suspend or end access for material breach of this clause.

6. Data sources, attribution and accuracy

Digests are compiled automatically from public sources. Attribution, which you must keep if you quote source data internally:

Accuracy disclaimer: we do not create, verify or guarantee the source data. Digests may be incomplete, delayed, out of date or contain errors, and our scores are automated estimates, not advice. Always check the original notice before relying on it. We do not guarantee that any lead results in work, contracts or revenue. Neither the Publications Office of the EU nor the data.gov.ie publisher endorses AwardSignal.

7. Availability

We aim to send digests on schedule but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. A missed digest will be re-sent when possible.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that: (a) we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill or anticipated savings, or for indirect or consequential loss; (b) our total liability arising from or in connection with these terms in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

9. Your data and ours

Our privacy notice explains how we use personal data. Where we process personal data on your behalf (e.g. recipient lists you provide), we do so only to deliver the service.

10. Ending the service

We may end the service on 30 days' notice, refunding any prepaid fees for the unused period.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms by giving at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from your next renewal after the notice period; if you do not agree, you can cancel before then. Changes required by law or for security may apply sooner.

12. Law and courts

These terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual) are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. General

These terms are the entire agreement for the service. If a clause is invalid the rest remains in force. You may not assign the agreement without our consent. Notices to us go to hello@awardsignals.com; notices to you go to your account email.
